Love it all

-Almost 100 billion pounds of food is wasted each year in America.

1.02 billion people across the world are hungry.

- Minimum wage in Georgia is $7.25 per hour.

Some places 1 person lives off of $2 a day.

- Children in America are able to read and write their name (in both print and cursive) by age 5.

Around a billion people can’t read nor can they write their name in the world.

America is pretty well off if you think about it. Yes there is poverty in America, but for me personally I don’t see it that much. If we want to read a book you can just upload it to your new Ipad, but in other countries people don’t even know how to read. If we are hungry we go by a drive thru and don’t think twice about it, but in other countries they just have to starve.

Materialistically America has it going on!

Spiritually America is suffering more than ever!

Americans have all they want right on their finger tips. You wonder why you go on mission trips to other places and you see hundreds come to Christ then get back in the states and try just as hard to reach the people and if you’re lucky one gets saved. Here we don’t realize our need for a Savior. And when I think about that, it scares me more than anything. What is it gonna take for America to see the need for a Big Mighty God? Other places might not have anything in our eyes, but if you look through God’s eyes they have it going on. They not only need Hope and Savior, but they want it. We have just as big of a need for Hope and Savior here, but we just don’t want it. 

is beginning to seem more and more like a nightmare with every passing day.

so when i “grow up” i wanna be a missionary. i’ve wanted to be one since 6th grade. and this week at church it’s missions week. oh my goodness. it’s makin me itch because i want to be out on the field so freakin bad. i could almost get frustrated because i just want to do Jesus work day in and day out. could you imagine that being your job.that would be so legit! i am beyond willing to give up my car, my house, my “american dream” type life style to go live in a mud hut in africa and tell little kids about Jesus. and i’m just so ready to live that life but yet i’m here in u.s. of a. with another year of high school oh and don’t forget that college mess! i know God has me exactly where i am for a reason. and i know there’s a mission field right here infront of my face. and i know if i delight myself in Him, He will give me the desires of my heart. and i know waiting isn’t wasting time. but oh man. Here I am send meeeeeee !!!!! i’m ready right nowwwwwwwww! i want to be on the front lines.

• math class being cancelled.

• woodstock high school gettin out early

man oh man!

thanksgiving is just around the corner!! =] i’m so excited. it’s my favorite holiday!! i just got done bakin a pumpkin pie and pumpkin roll with my mom! she is sorta really rad! seriously, she is the only mom i know that will dance around the kitchen with me and do the stanky leg. that’s right my mom is a stanky leg-ing mug!!

my sister comes home tomorrow from college. i’m beyond excited! she is my best friend… EVER! also some of aunt, uncle and their three kids are coming up on wednesday! it’s gonna be a kick butt time!!

so much keeps happening i honestly haven’t digested it all yet.

just because the weather is changing doesn’t mean you should too.

Basically, life is kickin butt. I’m feeling like I’m spread a little too thin, but I’ll get over it.

Friday had an away game in Rome, Ga. It was so much fun! And, of course, we won!

Saturday rocked this thing called LoveLoud with my church. Easy to explain really… We just “love loud” by serving our community and really make love a verb! It’s stellar. My sissy came in town too. Hung out with her and her friends… The boy at subway is my new best friend. I smiled and asked him if he wanted to hook me up with a cookie. Dude freakin brought me 3 cookies free of charge! =] Slightly made my day!

Today was a good way to end the weekend. Worshiped the Big Man Upstairs[Jesus] and hung out with some precious friends.

Takin tomorrow off to refresh myself. Possibly turning off the cell phone and ditching the computer world. We’ll see how that goes. haa.
